Stephen Dodgson has lived in London most of his life. He was trained at the Royal College of Music, and has himself taught there since 1965. His compositions cover a wide field, those involving guitar have in particular attracted worldwide attention. John Williams has recorded both Dodgson's concertos, and several of his solo and chamber works. In England, Stephen Dodgson is also wellknown for his broadcasts and reviews on musical topics.
