5 cavatines

These five Cavatines are, as the title suggests, uncomplicated and melodious little affairs with the guitar having an active and interestinglywritten part whilst the flute/violin gets some quite pleasant tunes. Of particular note is the fourth piece which, for me, is the pick of the bunch with its scrumptiously melancholic melody line backed by some appealing arpeggios, easily a «stand alone« item.
Undemanding on the ear, these five miniatures would be just the thing in the informal concert situation ... pleasant «student« fare of around the Intermediate standard, weIl presented, with a separate part for both instruments. >
